Family Cultures Around the World  

Your assignment is to research dating, wedding customs, family structure, divorce and grief/funeral customs in a variety of countries and cultures.

There will be a cart of books in the computer lab for your use.  You can also use Destiny, the online card catalog to locate books, too.

Use Culture Grams to learn more about the country/culture you are reseaching.  (Check at the circ desk for user name and password info).  Click on "World Edition." Locate the country on a map and click on the name of the country.  Next you'll see a guide for the country and on the left hand side, there will be a section of links entitled "Lifestyle."  Use the links there, such as "Family," "Dating and Marriage" and "Life Cycle" to complete your project.
